My Culinary Expedition: Bringing Familiar Flavors to Uncharted Shores:


My recent relocation to Puerto Rico on New Year’s 2024 was enabled by the flexibility of my work, affording me the opportunity to work remotely. Since my arrival, I've embarked on an unparalleled culinary voyage. While I've always harbored a fervor for aiding others, the unhurried pace of life here has reignited my ardor for food and the art of sharing culinary creations.

Upon settling in, I encountered a fascinating predicament: many of the cherished food items from my upbringing were conspicuously absent. Having grown up amidst the culinary abundance of New York and Connecticut, where Italian feasts mingled with Asian and Latin flavors, I was faced with the challenge of recreating these cherished tastes in my new home.

With my upbringing in the kitchen and years of experience in the restaurant and food industry, I found myself with an advantage many don’t have.

Undeterred by the absence of familiar ingredients, I rolled up my sleeves and embraced the challenge. From meticulously handcrafted pasta to tantalizing pizzas, from delectable Mediterranean fare to zesty Latin-inspired dishes, I've painstakingly perfected recipes to bring to the Island a taste of home to those who visit and those who have liked and experienced prior, a taste of my heritage.

Sharing these culinary delights with friends and neighbors has been a source of immeasurable joy. Their enthusiasm and encouragement have propelled me to elevate my passion for food to new heights. A serendipitous encounter with a local massage therapist, Kristen from Palms Embrace, further ignited my culinary ambitions. Kristen, a kindred spirit hailing from Philly, shared her yearning for the Italian comfort foods of her youth. Upon sampling my creations, she implored me to introduce these flavors to a wider audience.

Inspired by Kristen's heartfelt words and the warm embrace of Puerto Rican hospitality, I've embarked on a new venture: a catering business specializing in sought-after dishes perfect for families, individuals, and vacationers alike. With a rotating menu tailored to tantalize taste buds and accommodate specific preferences, my aim is to provide a culinary experience unlike any other on the island.

With unbridled enthusiasm and a deep-seated affection for both food and community, I extend a heartfelt invitation to join me on this epicurean odyssey. As I introduce familiar flavors to unfamiliar shores, I invite you to savor the essence of home in each delectable bite.

What we are providing

We work to satisfy the cravings of those here in the Western part of the Island looking to get a taste of more difficult to locate cuisine with a strong Italian influence. We focus on foods that can be prepared in advance for ease of reheating and serving. We will soon offer on-site catering at local Air BNB for long- and short-term guests of the Island.

How we Work

We take orders for catered meals for individuals and families with a minimum of three meals delivered to Airbnb, Home or Hotel. We offer rotating menu options and special requests are welcome with advance notice.
